Amazingly enough (since I'm never early) my package is in the mail today, sent priority, so I hope it arrives early next week.

My cards aren't done yet, however!

Well Brad wins for most being the most timely Santa. I received a package today which included a beautiful oversized coffee mug illustrated with big cats (lions, tigers, cougars), an illustrated coaster (also with a big cat on it) and a very, very delicious dark chocolate bar with espresso beans...I love Hershey's, but this was several notches above and beyond commercial quality (70% cocoa bean content), one of the best chocolate bars I've tasted. Thanks Brad for the generous and useful gift. Also, I can see it was purchased from an environmental group, Big Cat Rescue, in Tampa, FL which according to the enclosed literature, gives back 10% of its profits to support endangered species, habitat, and humanity. A charity that gives back something to animals (specifically, big cats) and supporting the environment is something to think about over the holidays. Thanks once again Brad, it is very much appreciated!

Sincerely,

Richie

Whew! Very glad to see that you were happy with the gifts Richie. I was not entirely sure that you would like the stuff. You gave me little to go on for your desired gifts, but a peek at your profile indicated a respect for nature. The rest was easy...

Richie, it sounds like you got a great gift.

Remember, everyone to post here when your gift arrives, even if you don't want to open it until the holidays. Your secret santa will want to know it arrived.

My present from Santa Judy arrived today and like a little kid I couldn't wait to open it! I was having a really bad day where nothing was going right and this really lifted my mood--Thank You Judy!!!

She did just what I wanted and I truly appreciate it. The donation will be truly appreciated. We have something along that line here also -It's called "Embrace Iowa" and all the funds go to help Iowans that just need a little help over a rough time.

And besides that she even sent me a gift.. An adorable cat figurine from the Jim Shore collection "Patience"-And I know it's not supposed to available till 2007 so was truly surprised! I will treasure it always. Thank you so much

I got my gift from Richie today. A very nice Cross Bill Blass pen set which my daughter (she's nearly four mind you) immediately started crying about how she didn't have any pens (that's a lie). So I asked her if she was really trying to get mommy to give her some of my Christmas present which made her promptly look down and leave the room. He also included a bag which I know I will use. I don't like fancy purses and have just been using one of those little cloth string backpacks to carry my calendar, hand sanitizer, wallet, wipes and whatever I know the kids need when we go out. I actually miss the excuse of a diaper bag but don't want to start carrying one of those huge purses like my mom used to have. The bag Richie sent is the perfect size. Even the two little slots on the inside are the exact sizes of my cellphone and the Bath and Bodyworks foaming hand sanitizer I always try to carry. Thanks Richie!

Now, I must get mine together to mail. I have the give I'm just trying to find the time to search the house for the proper thing to mail it in.

Oh Ronda...I'm so glad it got to you so fast! So others understand, Ronda's request for a gift was a donation to a local food bank or animal shelter. I actually made a donation to Seasons for Sharing a big local effort here for getting money to go directly to agencies that help local folks in need.

But I still wanted to get a gift for her too. I fell in love with the cat figurine, but now I'm really delighted to know it is something that Ronda was familiar with too! I thought it was perfect for a sweeper. I bought it at a local Hallmark store that has a wonderful room full of collectables (not Hallmark stuff but other collectables and lots of holiday village type stuff).

Ronda, I'm so happy I was able to brighten your day!

Yep a definite mailed today!
Geez I never thought of sending it priority mail.
I mailed it first class.
This shouldn't be a problem?
I only mail packages within MN and used to things getting to their destination fast.
